Hey there! My name is Kat and I’m on a journey to become a junior developer. I have a love for games and a fascination with AI and cybersecurity. I moved to the UK when I was 18 and spent 10 years working as a nanny before deciding to follow my passion for software and computers. I’m excited to continue learning and growing in this field, and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!(An apprenticeship would be cool tho)
I completed my high school education in Croatia before exploring further education options.Recently, I decided to take my learning to the next level by enrolling in an intense 12-week software developer bootcamp. To improve my coding skills, I take online courses from platforms like OSSU, FreeCodeCamp, and CS50. Through my studies, I discovered a passion for back-end development and an interest in DevOps. I also enjoy programming utility apps that make people’s lives easier. I am also familiar with working with Godot.
I've been learning and practicing a variety of technologies, from front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to back-end tools like SQL and Python. I'm also familiar with C# and have experience using VS Code and Git for development. And when it comes to game development, I've been exploring the Godot engine.
